Embarking on a new chapter in our journey with the launch of the Mortgage Servicing Cloud cloud
McDonald Computer Corporation, now MCC Mortgage Solutions, was founded in April 1976 to specialize exclusively in providing services and products to mortgage servicers of all types. Since our inception, we have never deviated from our original objectives and goals.
We are the oldest privately held mortgage servicing software company in the United States. Initially, our main services included consulting, systems, programming, software and facilities management. We sold and installed several mortgage servicing computer systems, running on various vendor hardware, throughout the United States. Our unique advantage was an ability to customize our software to fit the needs of our customers.
In August 1979, we expanded our services to include on-line computer processing from our offices in downtown Detroit, Michigan. We continued to market our mortgage servicing software while working to build our on-line, real-time servicing base.
In October 1984, we expanded our computer services by opening an office in Orlando, Florida.
In July 1986, we relocated our corporate data center to Southfield, Michigan, a northern suburb of Detroit. Our software engineering team and operations team is located in this facility.
In January of 1999 we began offering the MyLoanInfo ® web based customer service application.
In December 2008 we announced the availability of Web/T.I.M.E ® web based cloud hosted mortgage servicing system.
In January of 2010 we migrated from our internal data center to a cloud hosted solution.
In July of 2012 we announced NIST/FISMA compliance.
In Q4 of 2018 we announced the availability of MCC's mortgage servicing solution as a part of the initial launch of the MCC Mortgage Servicing Cloud.
All in all we've provided services to more than 100 organizations and serviced more than 10 million loans since our founding in 1976.
All of our solutions including the MCC Mortgage Servicing Cloud and MyLoanInfo ® operate in an on-line real time mode. We have taken great care to ensure consistency and standardization of UI procedures and report formats.
Our systems are user oriented; they require a minimum of user input coding, while generating a maximum number of internal controls ensuring data integrity.
Simplicity of use is one of our main goals.
“I have made this letter longer than usual, only because I have not had the time to make it shorter.” — Blaise Pascal once wrote apologetically
We too believe in this philosophy, that brevity and compactness require planning and patience–but the results are worth it. We are constantly striving to simplify, improve, and enhance our solutions.
The mortgage servicing is very dynamic, requiring flexibility, knowledge, experience, dedication and commitment in order to succeed. We have succeeded and intend to continue to succeed at even higher levels in the years to come.
